This shot of the Tarrant County Courthouse in Fort Worth, Texas, was taken in December 2013 while I was visiting to celebrate my father’s 60th birthday. Jen and I were able to catch a flight into the area after an uncharacteristic ice storm swept through central Texas. The roads were coated in ice and travel was almost impossible for several days.
