I’ve always liked taking pictures, but really started getting into photography in college and finally bought my first SLR during my stint at the newspaper. It’s a fun hobby – now that I’m not on a beat – and I like to think I’ve captured some interesting images.

American Adventures
I love to travel, and have been fortunate enough to spend time in a number of different parts of the United States of America, in addition to Europe. While I’ve immensely enjoyed visiting overseas nations, this country is incredibly beautiful. To date, I believe I’ve been to about 26 states in total (all in the lower 48), so I have a lot more exploring left to do.

European Excursions
In 2008, during the second semester of my junior year at Marist College, I studied abroad in Florence, Italy. The opportunity afforded me the chance to explore Europe by plane, train and bicycle – and I think I took full advantage! In addition to exploring Italy, I traveled to several other countries, including Spain, France, Holland, Switzerland, England, and the Czech Republic.
